Welcome to our holiday home in the Vendee, France.





This beautiful region of France claims a sunshine record similar to that of the South of France with hot summers and mild winters. The local area offers lakes, woods and great scenery, ideal for walkers, cyclists and bird watchers. You will always be less than 50 minutes away from the Vendee coast where there are many clean sandy beaches.  The Vendee coast with towns such as La Sables d'Olonne, La Tranche sur Mer, La Rochelle and the island of I'le de Re are all less than 1 hours drive away from our home.





Our holiday home is located in the quiet and small hamlet of La Chapelle Themer, a rural location near the small town of Sainte-Hermine, just a few minutes north of Junction 7 off the A83.
